When I was calling or answering phone ups I would purposely put the person on hold even if there is no one around just so I make it seem real busy so that I could get on and off the phone. Or if they say yes I was just looking.. you say ( Very Excited) Great I am just selling .. Try to get them to laugh .. Ask them what kind of car they were looking for. You: yes, it’s a Pre- Auction Event. Our dealer would rather take a small deal now then pay all the auction fees next week. Them: Can I see the vehicles online? You: Some are online but what are you looking for? GET INFO MAKE APPOINTMENT. SEE (A) Them: What’s the Price? You: There’s no price. They said they will take any reasonable offer made. Remember. Them: You don’t know any prices? You: Well remember - It’s not how much they are trying to make - it's how much they are willing to lose before vehicles go to auction ( If they persist on knowing a price Write don’t Fight ) but I have been doing this for years and maybe 1 out of 20 I give a price to.
